Blush Novelties Celebrates Arbor Day by Planting Trees

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. — Blush Novelties, the brand behind the biodegradable vibrator, is working with adult retailers to plant trees in celebration of Arbor Day.

Together, with the participation of adult retailers who sell Gaia vibrators, Blush will be planting one tree for every online store that carries Gaia and shares its URL. Blush will also plant one tree for every store that shares a photo of its Gaia products on their shelves.

“For the eco conscious consumer, these toys are a dream,” said Ducky DooLittle, Blush’s resident sex educator. “Even for those who are not as concerned about the environmental impact of sex toys, I feel confident the Gaia Vibes will drive pleasure and start awesome conversations on the sales floor about recycling, body safe sex toys and wellness in general.”

The promotion is taking place via Blush social media channels and runs through Arbor Day, April 28.

“At Blush, we’re always looking to be innovative with our choice of materials,” said a spokesperson. “Gaia Vibes are the first line of biodegradable vibrators. Made of BioFeel, a bioplastic which is a polymer compound mixed with cornstarch, the vibrator is biodegradable. This material was the perfect choice for a vibrator since it is nonporous, making it completely safe and clean for use in the body.

“The Gaia line takes away the guilt of ecological damage caused to the environment through your pursuit of pleasure,” the spokesperson continued. “Our bioplastic will biodegrade within 47-90 days in a commercial composting facility. You can also take comfort knowing that Eco uses less energy and creates less greenhouse gas emission than any other sex toy on the market.”
