Max Candy's 'tOuch BDSM' Documentary Soon to Wrap

NEW YORK — Adult film director Max Candy is nearing the completion stage for his upcoming documentary, “tOuch BDSM.”

Two years in the making, Candy got involved in the movie to better understand BDSM. He traveled four countries and interviewed 200 individuals for “tOuch BDSM.”

“At the outset I, rather naively, believed that I had an understanding of BDSM and all its variants,” Candy said. “I set out to explain this wonderful subculture to the world, fully believing that I knew what I was talking about. Boy, was I wrong.

“The four corners of the world have been thoroughly explored, and yet the human mind is still largely a mystery,” Candy said. “Through many years of experience, I have come to believe that BDSM — with all its mental experiments and shared practices — is the perfect model for exploring the as-yet uncharted mind. What could be more fascinating that examining the dynamics of play or reviewing the results of aftercare?”

Candy, meanwhile, said that he’s embarking on another journey this year.

He said: “The idea is simple. We drive a logo-wrapped tour bus across the U.S., starting on the West Coast and ending on the East Coast or back where we started. Along the way we stop of for hundreds of press conferences about ‘tOuch BDSM’ and kink in general … in an effort to educate America about what BDSM really is.”

“On the way we’d pick up and drop off kinksters from all over our green and pleasant land for the roadtrip of a lifetime,” he said. “For posterity and for added fun, I’d love to film the whole adventure and include it as an added element of my film.”

Candy is currently planning the trip and is seeking ideas, as well as those who’d like to hop aboard an advertising-wrapped bus for the journey.

“Are you on board for this adventure? Any ideas or must-see stops along the way? Get in touch and let me know, and I’ll see you on the scene,” he said.
