LOS ANGELES — TroubleFilms has announced its upcoming release, “Queer Porn Americana,” will be screened in Brooklyn, Providence, London, Chicago and Tokyo before it is available online.
“Queer Porn Americana” is performer Chelsea Poe’s directorial debut and features Tiffany Starr, Crona Valentine, Parker Reed, Milcah Halili and newcomer/co-producer Ella Bryn.
“The title visits places like Chicago, Vegas and Grand Rapids to capture just a tiny slice of what queer sex is like all over the country," Poe said.
TroubleFilms founder Courtney Trouble added, “I am proud of Chelsea Poe, and I am reminded of my first title, ‘Roulette,’ when I watch how Chelsea put this together. Showcasing the diversity of desire through her dynamic casting, using an entirely queer artist crew, queer soundtrack and traveling around the country in order to work with a variety of people... it shows a lot of promise. Poe is the director to follow."
TroubleFilms has signed on to release two more full-length titles from Poe.
On Apr. 20, “Queer Porn Americana” will be offered as a digital download or as a limited edition handmade collectible DVD, featuring Trouble’s hand-printed artwork as the cover. VOD syndication on HotMoviesForHer.com and AEBN.com will begin May 1.
