The video, based on Taormino’s “The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women,” goes on sale next Monday.
“We created this movie to enrich the lives of the people that see it,” Taormino said in a release. “Whether they are beginners, want to go beyond the basics, or are sophisticated about sex, we believe that they will thoroughly enjoy it.”
Taormino said that after giving more than 100 lectures to audiences across the country about anal sex, she considers herself an expert on the subject.
“I have a good idea of what people want to know and the demonstrations they want to see,” Taormino said.
The video features a workshop taught by Taormino with demonstrations by two co-hosts followed by two scenes where enthusiastic couples show specific techniques, positions and sex toys.
The “Ultimate Guide” recently was released in a second, revised edition by Cleis Press. Its first printing tallied 75,000.
Vivid’s Howard Levine said that the video is presented in a new format, where viewers can choose to watch the scenes with or without the instruction. The Van Nuys-based studio calls the new Vivid-Ed series, the “sex-ed for a new generation.”
“It’s like getting two movies on one disc,” Levine said. “You can watch it first to learn then watch the scenes for pure enjoyment.”
Stars of the video include Lorelei Lee, Ariel X, Adrianna Nicole, Manuel Ferrara, Marcos Leon and Ricki White.
