Four Sigmatic to Showcase Health Products at SHE L.A.

LOS ANGELES — Four Sigmatic will be showcasing its mushroom-based health foods and beverages at the next Sexual Health Expo (SHE), to be held this Saturday, Feb. 4 and Sunday, Feb. 5 at the California Market Center (CMC) in Los Angeles.

Four Sigmatic offers a variety of mushroom-based products it describes as “superfoods,” including coffees, elixirs and cocoas. The company was founded in Finland in 2012 and launched in the U.S. in 2015.

“Four Sigmatic is a superfood company founded by a group of Finnish friends,” said Mikael Makinen, a Four Sigmatic spokesperson. “It is based on their belief that health can be vastly improved through simple dietary tweaks. The easiest way to do this? Mushrooms, the most scientifically studied and proven superfood. Four Sigmatic wants to popularize medicinal mushrooms by incorporating them in popular products like coffee and hot cocoa.”

Makinen said, “Four Sigmatic products can be found in natural health stores around the U.S., including Whole Foods Market and Sprouts; online stores like Amazon and Thrive Market; and retailers like Free People, Sunlife Organic and ABC Home — and at the Sexual Health Expo this weekend.”

Four Sigmatic currently offers three types of coffees: Mushroom Coffee With Cordyceps, Mushroom Coffee With Lion’s Mane, and Mushroom Green Coffee. Cordyceps, Makinen said, is a natural fit for SHE because of its sexual benefits.

“One of the mushrooms Four Sigmatic uses is cordyceps, which is one of the most precious sex herbs,” Makinen said. “Cordyceps is said to increase general blood flow and affect the sexual center of the brain. That’s why many have nicknamed it as cordy-sex.”

Makinen said that SHE L.A. 2017 attendees are invited to stop by Four Sigmatic’s booth and ask questions about the benefits of its products.

“Four Sigmatic has three different products with cordyceps mushrooms: Cordyceps Elixir with herbal extracts, Cordyceps Hot Cacao with cacao and spices, and Cordyceps Coffee — which has half the caffeine of a normal coffee cup but double the benefits. Four Sigmatic will also showcase its other mushroom products, which boost the immune system and balance hormonal levels. Come and try them out.”

The California Market Center is located at 110 E. 9th St. near Main St. in Downtown Los Angeles.
