VALENCIA, Calif. — Acclaimed adult film director B. Skow took home the 2017 XBIZ Award for Best Sex Scene in a couples-themed release for his film “The Switch.”
The scene starred Katrina Jade and Xander Corvus, both of whom took the show’s highest honors when they were named the 2017 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year and 2017 XBIZ Male Performer of the Year, respectively.
Romi Rain and Corvus were also nominated for their sex scene in “The Switch.”
“It was such a pleasure to work with Katrina and Xander, and I’m completely thrilled and honored to receive recognition for all the hard work we have put in,” Skow said. “It’s been an amazing year.”
Corvus’ performance in “The Switch” also earned him a nomination for 2017 XBIZ Best Actor in a couples-themed release, while co-star Mia Malkova was similarly nominated for 2017 XBIZ Best Actress in a couples-themed release.
B. Skow Productions earned a total of 22 XBIZ nominations, including 8 categories for the 2017 XBIZ Feature Release of the Year nominee “Color Blind,” and nominations in three Director of the Year categories.
