VENICE, Calif. — The famed porn couple, Anikka Albrite and Mick Blue, took home the 2017 XBIZ Gonzo Release of the Year and Best Sex Scene in a feature release.
The award-winning “Mick Loves Anikka” was a celebration of the couple’s love and their first release as joint directors.
“We’ve been blessed to have so much success in this industry and we’re always looking for ways to produce the best product for our fans and for ourselves, too,” Albrite said after its summer release. “In Mick Loves Anikka we not only got to fulfill some of our fantasies, but we got to create the most amazing scenes we have ever done in the process.”
In addition to their Gonzo win, the couple also received the 2017 XBIZ Best Sex Scene in a feature release for “Babysitting the Baumgartners” which included Sara Luvv.
The movie was Adam & Eve’s biggest production of 2016, based on the book by Selena Kitt and directed by Kay Brandt.
“Shooting ‘Babysitting the Baumgartners’ was very special for both Mick and myself,” Albrite said. “It was a really intense shoot and an incredible movie. We were really proud to be a part of the production and so proud of the Best Sex Scene award.”
Blue agreed that film was intense.
“It was very demanding, but it was worth it,” he said. “It was a fantastic movie and I always love the opportunity to work with Anikka. I think our love for each other helped us in our roles for this great movie.”
