Good Vibrations to Celebrate Opening of New Mass. Store

SAN FRANCISCO — Good Vibrations will celebrate its ninth store grand opening party on Jan. 6 at 6 p.m. at the new Harvard Square location.

 Good Vibrations, a premier sex toy retailer that for decades has provided quality products, accurate information, and sex-positive education This is the second location in the Boston area for Good Vibrations.

Good Vibrations recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Brookline, Mass., store in the Coolidge Corner shopping district of Boston with customers, staff and vendors alike.

On Jan. 6, Good Vibes’ Good Vibes grand opening party will be free and open to the public, and will offer party favors, raffle prizes, refreshments and goodie bags. The store is located at 52 JFK St., in Cambridge Mass., in Harvard Square.

Carol Queen, Good Vibes’ staff sexologist and Antique Vibrator Museum curator, says, “It’s indeed a historic day for Good Vibrations as we take root in the rich culture of Harvard Square! We’ve had the honor for many years of lecturing and sharing our sex-positive educational programming at Cambridge colleges and so look forward to becoming part of the neighborhood and continuing those wonderful relationships.”

Good Vibes Executive Vice President Jackie Rednour-Bruckman adds, “Opening our Harvard Square location is the culmination of a lot of hard work and pulling together as a team to make it happen and we couldn’t be prouder. We have wanted to open another Boston location for a long time.”

Kristen Cotter, store manager of Good Vibes’ Boston location, says, “We’ve been serving the greater Boston area from our quaint Coolidge Corner location for 10 years and to say we are excited about our newest location in Harvard Square would be an understatement! We have been touched and inspired by the outpouring of support we’ve received from our customers, partners and neighbors.
