PHS Receives XBIZ Awards Nomination

LOS ANGELES — PHS International has been nominated for LGBT Pleasure Product Company of the Year in the 2017 XBIZ Awards, to be held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and hosted by Ron Jeremy.

The pleasure products manufacturer, founded by Chuck Harnish and Jim Horne, has been catering to the gay community.

“Jim and I started this company with a simple goal of representing LGBTQ folks in stores,” said Harnish, PHS’ CEO. “We had no idea at the time that we were making history, and it’s an honor to be recognized by our peers. The PHS team and I would like to thank everyone who nominated us, and we look forward to celebrating another 20-plus years of precedent-setting success.”

PHS’ first gay pride product line was created two decades ago, and the company went on to launch the MTM line.

“I started my career in the adult industry with PHS International, and it has been such a pleasure to help build a brand dedicated to serving the gay community,” PHS General Manager Michael Merrill said. “Some of my fondest memories come from working with Jim and Chuck to create concepts that truly had never been seen before, especially within the LGBTQ category. And it’s an honor to have our accomplishments recognized with this important award.”
