LOS ANGELES — Romanian webcam and fetish performer Alexandra Georgia, aka OneGreatDiva, has been nominated for Live Cam Model of the Year in the 2017 XBIZ Awards, to be held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and hosted by Ron Jeremy.
"For the last couple of years, I have been trying to encourage models to get out of their shells and embrace their fame,” Georgia said. “The camming industry is creating stars; cam models are now, more than ever, ready for it."
Georgia founded her own awards show, the Live Cam Awards, in 2015 to honor achievements in the adult cam sector.
"Being an independent cam model for ten years was nothing easy,” Georgia said. “You always struggle with new challenges and especially — with the evolution of our industry — you always have to improve yourself in order to keep up with this fierce competition."
