LOS ANGELES — Mercedes Carrera has received several nominations in the 2017 XBIZ Awards, to be held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and hosted by Ron Jeremy.
“I’m so excited to be nominated for so many categories this year for XBIZ,” Carrera said. “XBIZ is one of my absolute favorite organizations in the industry, and receiving a nomination for them is among the highest of honors.”
In addition to being nominated for MILF Performer of the Year, the Latina adult star is up for Best Actress: Couples Themed release for her work in Adam & Eve's "Forked.” Carrera’s scene with Mia Li and Damon Dice in “Forked” received a nomination for Best Sex Scene: Couples-Themed release, and her scene with Cherie DeVille in Girlsway’s “Project Pandora: A Psychosexual Lesbian Thriller” is nominated for Best Sex Scene: All Girl.
"Cherie DeVille is particularly incredible in her role for that film, and it was a real treat to be able to be part of creating such an amazing scene with her,” Carrera said. “She is a true actress and brought so much depth and beauty to her role. Everyone on the Girlsway team is so incredible, especially the production team led by Bree Mills and Stills by Alan. It’s always an absolute honor to get to be part of such a wonderful production."
