Channel 1 Releasing Nominated for 7 XBIZ Awards

LOS ANGELES — Channel 1 Releasing has received seven nominations in the 2017 XBIZ Awards, to be held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and hosted by Ron Jeremy.

Channel 1 Releasing has been nominated for Gay Studio of the Year, Gay Web Company of the Year and LGBT Pleasure Products Company of the Year, while its Skwert has been nominated for Gay Sex Toy Line of the Year and Sexual Health & Wellness Product of the Year. And Chi Chi LaRue has been nominated for Gay Director of the Year and Retailer of the Year.

“We are thrilled to receive seven nominations for the 2017 XBIZ Awards, which is a record for us," said Channel 1 Releasing CEO Rob Novinger. “Over the past few years, as video has slowed, C1R has been expanding and investing heavily into the novelty side of the industry. This endeavor has started to be recognized by industry heavyweights like XBIZ, and that feels really good.”

Channel 1 Releasing features a variety of gay entertainment, including films, novelties, online products and retail. Associated companies include LaRue's Rascal Video, All Worlds Video, Dirk Yates, Catalina Video, and Rascal and Boneyard Toys.
