JOHANNESBURG — Jessica Drake will be appearing at the Sexpo South Africa convention, to be held this Thursday, Oct. 27 through Sunday, Oct. 30 at the Johannesburg Exposition Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The adult sex eductator and Wicked Pictures contract performer will be attending the event as its official sex expert and will be promoting Wicked Sensual Care’s line of personal lubricants.
In addition to hosting workshops, Drake will be appearing in the Wicked Pictures/Wicked Sensual Care booth at Sexpo South Africa — where she will be signing autographs, posing for fan photos and selling DVDs.
“I'm really excited to be returning to Johannesburg and honored to headline Sexpo SA this time around,” Drake said. “I've been to many, many shows, but this one holds a very special place in my heart. In between my daily sex ed seminars and emceeing stage shows, you can find me in the Wicked booth, with my ‘Guide to Wicked Sex’ DVDs and Wicked feature movies and promoting our Wicked Sensual Care Collection. We hope to bring a new level of sexual health and wellness to South Africa."
Wicked Sensual Care, recently named Lube of the Year by SluttyGirlProblems, offers a variety of lubricants, including the newly-launched Wicked Hybrid — which a representative said “blends the richness of silicone with the functionality of water-based lubricants" — as well as the Aqua Collection of water-based lubricants, the Ultra Collection’s silicone-based lubricants, the Wicked Sensations Collection, and Specialty Products.
A spokesperson for Drake said that during her visit to Johannesburg, she “will also join with local organizations to help make menstrual products available for underprivileged and at-risk, young people, encouraging them to pursue education in all facets of life.”
Drake, a spokesperson said, “has been travelling the world, making speaking appearances and media contributions with her message of sexual wellness and the importance of maintaining a healthy relationship through a mutually satisfying love life.” The Wicked star has appeared on BuzzFeed’s original series “Modern Sex” in addition to her other appearances this past year in outlets such as Uproxx, AskMen, CNBC, Vice, BuzzFeed, Bustle, Maxim, Refinery 29, Prime Mind, and GQ.
