Glamour Previews Lovehoney's New Fifty Shades Line

LONDON — As the world awaits “Fifty Shades Darker,” the upcoming film sequel to “Fifty Shades of Grey,” Glamour today previewed Lovehoney’s new collection inspired by the second movie.

Glamour said that the London-based sex toy retailer went with a chic, all-black set of toys this time around. All told there are 15 new products.

“In contrast to the company's original Fifty Shades collection — which offers tamer products like lube and vibrators, along with kinkier ones — the set based on the sequel is almost exclusively devoted to bondage,” Glamour noted.

The Fifty Shades Darker line includes nipple clamps, handcuffs, a paddle, a clitoral clamp and a collar with a chain and a spreader bar, among other products.

“Fifty Shades Darker,” the film, is slated for release on Valentine’s Day. Its cast includes Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson, Kim Basinger and Eric Johnson.

Lovehoney, which owns the license to design and manufacture the official line of Fifty Shades pleasure products, hopes to capitalize on the second installment of the trilogy and a new wave of demand for erotic apparel and equipment.

"We've worked closely with E. L. James and used materials like stainless steel, premium silicone, and glass to make this collection one of our best yet," according to Lovehoney's site.

For those curious about “Fifty Shades Darker,” a trailer has been released here.
