International Lingerie Show Wraps, Announces New Venue

LAS VEGAS — The fall edition of the International Lingerie Show has come to a close following three days of product showcases, seminars and evening gatherings.

A flyer notified ILS attendees of the event’s new venue slated for next year’s spring edition of the show, which will take place at the Westgate Hotel and is described as being newly renovated.

“We promise you will see the finest retailers, sexy Halloween exhibitors. And an array of new lingerie companies … all of which will bring in new retailers,” the organizers said in their announcement. “We will also offer a fun slate of business seminars for both retailers and exhibitors to enjoy.

“The Westgate has beautifully renovated the entire property and has easy access from your room to your booth. The entire team is excited to gear up at our new home and produce a great show for everyone.”

Magic Silk President Jeff Baker told XBIZ that he’s been attending ILS since it was first created, and said that it continues to offer a good environment to do business in.

“I think the buyers and exhibitors were both pleased with the experience,” Baker said. “I was pleasantly surprised with the order taking that we did. Our new collections from Magic Silk and Male Power were both very well received.”

Xgen Products exhibited at ILS in a larger booth situated in the middle of the show floor. Andy Green, president of Xgen told XBIZ that he and his team were busy the entire show. “I think the show is busier than last year’s,” he said. “Our meeting tables were always filled.”

The bigger booth also housed the Baci Lingerie sales team, who showcased new additions to its line, including a new White Label collection that features plus-size styles that Green described as “concise.”

Xgen featured new additions to its collections as well as entire new lines, including Fundies novelty underwear for men and couples, and the new Latex Wear line.

“It’s the first line of packaged latex and I think retailers will find it easier to merchandise,” Green said.

The company also expanded its Secrets line of vibrating panties with the addition of the Secrets Vibrating Teddy. “There’s plenty of vibrating panties, but nothing like this on the market,” Green said.

Xgen also unveiled the new Bodywand Plus massager, along with two new Lapdance lines that include a seamless dress collection that are black light reactive.

Among the new companies to make their debut at ILS was Adrien Lastic — a European brand that has just opened up a U.S. branch. Jason Jacob, sales manager for Adrien Lastic USA told XBIZ that having previously worked in the service industry, he is committed to offering the best support to retailers along with the brand’s range of high-quality toys that are affordably priced.

“Now that we’re in the U.S., we want to stay on top of trends, offer high-quality products — we want to be a part of the family in the U.S.,” he said.

Among Adrien Lastic’s unique range of pleasure products is the O Venus, a couples toy that was designed by British sex blogger Venus O’Hara. “We worked with her to design it and it really put us on the map.”

The day after hosting a luncheon to announce its new partnership with Tantus for a dildo that’s exclusively designed for the BonBon toy mount; Liberator invited its customers and colleagues for a party in its suite last night. Featuring food, drinks — including a whiskey-tasting bar — and a DJ, the Liberator team mingled with guests, mixing business with pleasure as they promoted their new products as well as Tenga masturbators.

FemmeFunn prominently showcased its Ultra Bullet, a powerful mini massager made of 100 percent silicone, alongside new products. Half of FemmeFunn’s booth was dedicated to its Kinkx range of BDSM gear.

Entrenue, which this year marks its 10-year anniversary under the ownership of industry vet Joe Casella, maintained a steady stream of customers at its booth with an upscale display of premium toys. The distributor also offered photo opps with hunky Chippendales dancers.

Crave exhibited its range of high-end pleasure products at the Entrenue booth. Crave’s Jack Morocco said the company is currently extremely busy keeping up with the demand for the brand’s new Crave Bullet Vibrator. Featuring a revolutionary new design, the design-centric brand has reimagined the classic toy with luxurious and durable materials and a waterproof, USB-rechargeable design.
