Net1on1 Named U.K. Distributor for Lovehoney's 'Fifty Shades' Products

SHOREHAM-BY-SEA, U.K. — Lovehoney has named Net1on1 Wholesale as the exclusive U.K. distributor for their “Fifty Shades of Grey”-licensed products.

Under the new agreement, Net1on1 Wholesale will distribute Lovehoney’s “Fifty Shades of Grey: The Official Pleasure Collection” and the upcoming “Fifty Shades Darker: The Official Pleasure Collection” to U.K. retailers.

"We are delighted to announce that Net1on1 are with immediate effect, the official U.K. distributor of Lovehoney-licensed brands,” said Jim Primrose, international sales manager for Lovehoney. “This includes the brand new ‘Fifty Shades Darker: The Official Pleasure Collection,’ which will launch in October at the eroFame erotic trade exhibition in Germany as we build up to the new ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ movie release on Valentine’s Day 2017.”

Tony Gonzalez, managing director at Net1on1 Wholesale, said, “This is major news, and we are absolutely thrilled. The best-selling ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ books and the first ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ movie have transformed the pleasure toy market, and ‘Fifty Shades of Grey: The Official Pleasure Collection’ is easily one of the most recognizable and (inspirational) brands in the market. It has sold phenomenally well for us over the last couple of years, and we saw record demand for the products from retailers around the launch of the record-breaking blockbuster last year."

Lovehoney’s “Fifty Shades of Grey: The Official Pleasure Collection” is currently the only official range of “Fifty Shades of Grey”-branded sex toys and pleasure products. Developed in association with author E.L. James, it includes a collection of bondage products, sex toys and accessories, from rope, cuffs and floggers to bullets, vibrators and cock rings.

Gonzalez said, "Naturally, we are very excited about the upcoming ‘Fifty Shades Darker: The Official Pleasure Collection’ this autumn and the new film next year, both of which are sure to be massive hits.”

“Fifty Shades Darker: The Official Pleasure Collection” will launch this autumn and includes pleasure products ranging from vibrators and glass items to — for the first time — a collection of steel toys. The collection also features three new couples’ gift sets/bondage kits.

A spokesperson for Net1on1 Wholesale said that “Net1on1 and Lovehoney will meet in the coming weeks” to discuss opportunities for the Tokidoki collection as well as pleasure products officially using the names of the popular heavy metal bands Mötorhead and Mötley Crüe.
