NEW YORK — The girls at Rick’s Cabaret New York, one of Manhattan’s leading gentlemen’s clubs, have weighed in on New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, aka A-Rod. The baseball star’s final game will be this Fri., Aug. 12.
Some of the dancers at Rick’s Cabaret New York will be wearing Rodriguez’ #13 jersey on Friday and will honor him by stripping out of the jerseys. But there are other dancers at the club who do not think Rodriguez deserves such an honor.
Rick’s Cabaret New York girl Monica said of Rodriguez, “He lied about steroids twice, and he is a cheater. So I have very little sympathy for him.”
Rick’s Cabaret New York girl Angelica said, “Let’s look to the future and forget A-Rod.”
But Rick’s Cabaret New York girl Joanna had a different view. “I wish the Yankees had let him finish the year and maybe get to hit his 700th home run,” Joanna said.
Rick’s Cabaret New York, which was named “the #1 strip club in New York” by Playboy, is located in Mid-Town Manhattan at 50 W. 33rd St. The club is within walking distance of Penn Station, Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Building.
