Jessica Drake Wins XRCO's 'Mainstream Adult Media Favorite' Award

HOLLYWOOD — Sex educator and Wicked Pictures contract performer jessica drake was recognized last week as Mainstream Adult Media Favorite at the 2016 XRCO Awards, held Jun. 22 at the Ohm Nightclub in Hollywood, Calif. The honor was in part due to drake's support for sex education reform and the resulting media attention.

This marks drake's third XRCO win and 27th award overall from a major adult industry organization. In 2015, drake won an XBIZ award for Best Actress: Parody Release.

"I have known and loved the many members of XRCO since I first entered the industry," drake said. "So this is really special. Thank you to everyone involved with XRCO for presenting me with the Mainstream Adult Media Favorite award, and thank you so much to Wicked, my FAM team and Steve Orenstein for all the support throughout my career — especially with my progress as a sex educator."

The adult star has been an outspoken voice in the media in support of sexual wellness and healthy attitudes toward sex, starting with her best-selling sex education series, "jessica drake's Guide to Wicked Sex" — which provides explicit demonstrations and frank discussion of sex techniques, fetish sex, intimacy issues, and other topics.

Drake has grown her stature as a sex educator through mainstream articles and personal appearances; drake has expanded her interests by offering relationship and sexual advice in a column she has started writing for Stylecaster.com. In the past year, drake has been featured in mainstream media outlets that include Vice, BuzzFeed, Bustle, GQ, Cosmopolitan and Maxim.
