LOS ANGELES — Grooby Productions has announced a new release schedule. Going forward, the leading trans studio will release multiple titles per month.
In the past, Grooby Productions averaged one new title per month. But the number increased to two in May and is increasing to three this month with the release of "U.K. TGirls and Friends," "TGirls Porn 2" and "Miran: Newhalf Superstar."
David Peskin, sales manager for Grooby Productions, said, "For the past 15 years, Grooby has released one title a month. They ramped it up to two releases in May, one of which was 'Real Fucking Girls,' directed by Mona Wales.... And the numbers, the reorders are just phenomenal — truly a groundbreaking release."
Peskin said, "The second release in May was 'Ladyboy Cumshots,' and this is 63 scenes from the Grooby Network just of transsexual cumshots never before seen on DVD. (It is) selling extremely well."
Released on Monday, "TGirls Porn 2" features content from the UK-TGirls.com site on DVD. "TGirls Porn 2" features Lexus Bradbury, Jazmin, Alexandra Vexx, Alicia Snow, Mindy and Red Vex and was directed by Kalin.
Vexx and Mindy are featured in a trans lesbian scene that Peskin said is worthy of a Best Transsexual Scene award.
"These are hot and horny all-European tgirls," Peskin said.
"Miran: Newhalf Superstar," which is shipping this week and has a Jun. 27 street date, is the most recent addition to Grooby's "Superstar" series. Grooby launched the series in December of last year with the release of "Aubrey Kate: TS Superstar."
Peskin said, "For those that have never heard of Miran, she's the star of one of our best-selling 'Shemale Japan' titles, which is 'Shemale Japan 4' — where she exploded into stardom. In Japan, apparently, transsexuals are referred to as 'newhalfs.' They are underground, and Grooby happens to be the only company with access to shoot newhalfs in Japan."
Miran attended the Transgender Erotica Awards, an event for the trans adult industry, in March.
Peskin said, "Miran actually came out for the TEA Show in Hollywood. She flew in from Japan for the second consecutive year to the delight of all of her fans."
"Aubrey Kate: TS Superstar," Peskin said, "has been one of our best-selling titles to date. It's been reordering like a machine since its release. Then we released 'Honey Foxx: TS Superstar' in February, and now, ('Miran: Newhalf Superstar') is the third release in the series."
"TGirls Porn 2" features Eva Cassini with Crystal Sopen, Jamie French with Kira Krash, Chanel Santini with Coco Dahlia, Vixxen Goddess with Baby Bratt, and Chelsea Marie with Morena Black. Steven Grooby, founder and CEO of Grooby Productions, called "TGirls Porn 2" a "tgirl feast for the senses."
The first installment of "TGirls Porn," Peskin said, has had "phenomenal numbers" in terms of sales.
