Chaturbate Sponsors 1st WIA Summit

Chaturbate Sponsors 1st WIA Summit

MIAMI — Chaturbate is sponsoring the inaugural Women in Adult (WIA) Summit, which will bring together professional women from all facets of the adult entertainment industry.

WIA Summit events will be held during XBIZ Miami from May 31 to June 3.

WIA was founded to provide advocacy for all women in adult entertainment, whose roles range from performers to the industry’s biggest corporate power players. The organization's mission is to empower female executives and business owners to cultivate relationships, explore business opportunities and to inspire each other.

"Chaturbate shares the WIA's vision of providing a networking system to support women in creating successful businesses in the adult industry," said Shirley Lara, COO of Chaturbate.

“Chaturbate's user-friendly cam portal technology allows broadcasters, the majority of which are women, to set up his/her own adult business and encourages each broadcaster to share tips, information and support with other broadcasters," Lara said. "The WIA Summit gives all women in adult the chance to come together and celebrate the power of women in this industry.”

A womens-only conference, the WIA Summit will present women a wide variety of activities designed to provide exclusive networking opportunities with their industry peers.

Scheduled events include a morning yoga session, the WIA Roundtable and a keynote address by Cathy Beardsley, CEO of SegPay.

The WIA Summit runs concurrently with the XBIZ Miami convention and CamCon, taking place at the SLS Hotel in Miami's South Beach.

In addition to the WIA events, attendees will find additional educational sessions, nightly parties and a variety of beach activities to enjoy during the four-day conference. (A full schedule of these events is available on the official XBIZ Miami website.)

Offering a bold mix of high-energy events combined with the laid-back tropical setting of South Beach, XBIZ Miami brings adult business owners and decision makers together from around the world, to stay up to date with all the latest industry happenings, while taking deal-making and relationship-building to the next level.

The SLS Hotel offers a unique and comfortable décor, along with dining and drinking options that include The Bazaar, with its vibrant mix of sophisticated Latin cuisine, as well as the Asian-inspired Katsuya, for sushi dishes with an American flair. The Terrace, reminiscent of Parisian outdoor cafés, along with the casual Bar Centro, round out the culinary and cocktail highlights of SLS South Beach.

The hub of XBIZ Miami’s entertainment and networking activities is Hyde Beach — known as one of the hottest pools in Miami, featuring cabanas and a lounge that offers drinks and luncheon served poolside, or in the shade of the adjacent Mediterranean garden. Among the special events slated to occur in this luxurious setting are pool volleyball and pool beer pong, the popular “Miss XBIZ Miami” bikini contest, networking sessions and more.

XBIZ Miami rooms at the SLS Hotel are now sold out, but additional rooms are available nearby at adjacent sister property, The Redbury, by calling (305) 604-1776 and by using group code “XBIZ.”

Affiliates receive free admission to XBIZ Miami, with discounted prices for XBIZ.net members.
