LOS ANGELES — Tanya Tate has been nominated for Best Lesbian Performer for the X-Rated Critics Organization's (XRCO) 2016 awards show, to be held at Ohm Nightclub in Hollywood on Jun. 22.
A representative for Tate described her as "a solid contender for the title," noting that she "filmed her last boy/girl sex scene in 2013 and has since focused her efforts on performing only girl/girl scenes. Working for companies like Filly Films, Girlfriends Films and Girlsway have placed the popular performer in a perfect position for critics to enjoy her evolution. A combination of organic lust and a passion for women have landed Tanya the nomination."
Tate said, "I am thrilled beyond words for this nomination. I love sex with women, and I think that comes across in my movies. I've also been very fortunate to work with some of the hottest women in the industry, and my excitement shows. I'm very thankful the XRCO critics have noticed."
XRCO has also recognized Tate's work with Filly Films with nominations. "Lesbian Family Affair 3," directed by Tate for Filly Films, has received a nomination in the new All In The Family-Themed Movie category, while the "Lesbian Family Affair" series has been nominated for Best Girl/Girl Series.
"I'm quite proud to see 'Lesbian Family Affair 3' attain a nomination," Tate said. "I handpicked the cast, and every performer in that movie was awesome. It featured the hottest newbies and the most incredible superstars. That's the way it's been in all of the 'Lesbian Family Affair' movies.
