NEW ORLEANS — ED Publications, a trade for the adult nightclub and feature dancing sector, has announced that mainstream comedian Colin Kane will host the 19th Annual Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show, to be held on Tues., Aug. 9 at Harrah's Theatre inside Harrah's Casino in New Orleans. The awards show will also feature performances by four ED's Entertainer of the Year nominees.
A spokesperson for the event said, "If you like dirty comedy, then Colin Kane's your man. Billed by Dennis Miller as 'the next really big comedian' and described by fans as 'acerbic and brilliant,' Colin Kane has had the opportunity to work for everyone from the racially charged Paul Mooney to the deeply perceptive Jerry Seinfeld."
Nominees for the 2016 ED's Awards will be determined in part by the Official ED's Pre-Nomination Ballot, which will be featured online only at TheEDAwards.com.
The ED's Awards will take place during the Gentlemen's Club Expo, scheduled for Aug. 7-10 at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans.
