LOS ANGELES — Romi Rain has announced a dance tour and will headline at least nine clubs in six months.
The tour will begin at Sapphire New York this Sat., Feb. 20 and will continue through July.
“I’m coming for you, 2016,” Rain said. “I really enjoy feature dancing. I started out my entertainment career as an exotic dancer years ago, so it's really wild to go from a 19-year-old house dancer named Rain to being the headliner at clubs all over the country. It’s honestly a bit surreal, and I’m so appreciative of my awesome fans and look forward to meeting some of you at my shows this year. I try to make all of my shows a super sexy, fun and unique experience, bring a little bit of the rocker tease back into exotic dancing. More dates will be added as we move through 2016. I’m excited, are you?”
Sapphire New York is located at 333 E. 60th St. in Manhattan.
Other dates on Rain’s tour include Tobie’s Lounge in South Carolina on Mar. 18-20, Déjà Vu in Stockton, Calif. on Mar. 24-26, Silk in Juneau, Wis. on Apr. 7-9, Mystique in Bridgeport, Conn. on Apr. 22-23, the Cadillac Lounge in Providence, R.I. on May 20-21, Blush in Pittsburgh on Jun. 7-11, the Red Parrot in El Paso, Texas on Jul. 15-16 and Silk in Milwaukee on Jul. 21-23.
Rain can be seen in the new Skow for Girlfriends release “The Switch,” co-starring Mia Malkova, Xander Corvus and Chad White.
“’The Switch’ is an extremely funny new feature from B Skow,” Rain said. “It’s actually a parody of the Hollywood movie ‘The Change-Up.’ I play a frustrated porn star who just wants her boyfriend to be sweeter, and Mia is a sweet girl who just wants her boyfriend to fuck like a porn star. So by a crazy series of events, their personalities change bodies —and insanity ensues.”
Rain also stars in the Wicked Pictures release “Casual Encounters,” directed by David Lord. In “Casual Encounters,” Rain has a scene with Derrick Pierce in a dirty motel room.
Rain said, “Jessica Drake watches us the entire time, getting off on the voyeurism — and joins me at the end for a dirty make-out session. It’s super hot.”
