Dreamgirl Releases 2016/2017 Costume Catalog

LOS ANGELES — Dreamgirl International launched its 2016-2017 Costume Collection Catalog at its annual “Let’s Make a Deal” pre-season fashion show at the Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas.

The large format coffee table size catalog showcases new and best-selling styles inspired by pop culture, TV, film and runway trends. Dreamgirl’s costumes include a variety of retro-inspired styling details, jumpsuits, illusion skirts and asymmetrical lengths paired with Art Deco fabrications and detailing. With more than 100 unique, new costume styles featuring women’s, men’s, couple’s and plus styles and more than 20 new costume accessories, the 2016-2017 Costume Collection offers an array of runway-inspired pieces.

“The thought of a Monday night Halloween is what dreams are made of,” said Christopher Scharff, CEO at Dreamgirl International. “With the opportunity of a weekend filled with parties and then a Monday night of trick or treating with the whole family, this year’s Halloween will be the trifecta of celebrations with multiple opportunities to dress up and be anyone you want... whatever your fantasy, we take you further.”

With ancient times being a focus for movies set to be released this year such as “Gods of Egypt,” Dreamgirl brings the past alive through costumes paying tribute to Greek mythology and the tales of ancient Egypt. Each costume features intricate detailing, gold lamé accents, and sexy and convertible silhouettes.

Dreamgirl says that due to the success of its couples costumes, it has expanded within that category. The company offers costumes with intricate detail and authenticity inspired by anything from fairytale and storybook characters to fighters and disco dancers.

Dreamgirl also has created new styles influenced by strong female heroines. The costumes feature sleek jumpsuits, shimmering fabrics, and a variety of included accessories.

With the season’s costume collection, Dreamgirl has added more than 20 new accessories to accompany their costumes including a new hosiery line. The new collection features unique styles of hosiery including fishnets pantyhose with solid foot bottom and stockings with two sets of interchangeable bow toppers to add the finishing touch to a costume.
