The Baroness to Lecture at Fetish Fair Fleamarket on Feb. 13

NEW YORK — Fetish fashion designer The Baroness, who owns a popular latex-oriented boutique in New York City, will be lecturing at the 46th Fetish Fair Fleamarket on Saturday, Feb. 13, at 9:45 p.m. in the Kingston Room of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, R.I.

Titled "Latex: From Basics to Bizarre, or Everything You Always Wanted to Know But Were Afraid to Ask," the lecture will cover a wide range of topics, including latex purchases, caring for latex, rubber play and fetish versus fashion. The lecture will also include a short fashion show and a question-and-answer session.

A three-day convention, the Fetish Fair Fleamarket begins on Friday, Feb. 12, and continues until Valentine's Day on Sunday, Feb. 14. The Baroness will be working in Room 105 during the convention.

The Baroness' boutique, located at 530B E. 13th St. in Lower Manhattan's East Village, will be closed Feb. 11-15. The boutique will also be closed March 3-6, when The Baroness will be attending the Texas Latex Party.

The Baroness' boutique has been in business since 1995.

The Fetish Fair Fleamarket, first held in the Boston area in 1992, is the largest BDSM/fetish convention in New England and is held twice a year.
