Nica Noelle to Co-host 'Banned' Radio Program

BOSTON — Adult film director Nica Noelle will pair up with WMEX-AM (1510) producer Alex Weldon for a weekly two-hour talk radio program called “Banned.”

The program on WMEX debuts Jan. 22 and will broadcast live Fridays from midnight to 2 a.m. (EST). (Internet listeners can tune in at TuneIn.com).

“I’m so happy to join the WMEX family at such an exciting time in the station’s development,” Noelle said. “Alex has distinguished himself both as a producer and radio personality in a very short period of time, and it’s a big honor to work with him.”

Weldon, who also produces WMEX's “Renegade Radio,” began developing "Banned" with Noelle after the director appeared on the show as a guest in December.

“Alex and I realized we were totally on the same page about the kind of show we wanted to create,” Noelle said. “A mixture of current events, pop culture, fabulous guests, and of course the sordid details of our personal lives.”

“Nica brings an extensive resume in entertainment and journalism to the table, along with the ability to creatively articulate opinions on a wide range of topics,” Weldon said. “Her eclectic professional background and insider knowledge of the entertainment industry adds another level of intrigue to the program.”
