LOS ANGELES — James Bartholet, the popular adult film actor and fadio and Internet host, is nominated for several awards this year, including the 2016 XBIZ Awards category for Best Non-sex Performance.
The non-sex performance was for his portrayal of Duran Duran in “Barbarella XXX” for Wicked Pictures and director Axel Braun.
“I want to thank everybody for acknowledging my work, and giving me these nominations. I put a lot of time and energy into every role I do, and these are two great and very different roles that I portrayed this year, and I appreciate being recognized for these,” Bartholet said.
Braun said of Bartholet: “James was my first and only choice for the role of Duran Duran, and he delivered a hilarious, career-defining performance. His acting range is exceptional.”
