LOS ANGELES — Tanya Tate will be making a special signing appearance at Stan Lee’s Comikaze expo this weekend.
On Friday and Saturday, the XBIZ Award-winning star will be meeting fans and cosplaying at the My Hero Toys/Sugar Bear Media - table SAA44. The annual convention that celebrates comic books, video games, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, pop-culture and fandom will feature stars, creators and more from the geek community. At the show Tanya will be promoting her Lady Titan character and its My Hero Toys vinyl figure.
“Stan Lee’s Comikaze is an amazing show and I’m excited about spending my Halloween weekend there,” Tate said. “I’ve already picked out the superhero costumes I’ll be cosplaying in, so I’m ready for the show.”
Since she began cosplaying in 2010, Tate has become a prolific geek personality. She’s gone on to participate on panels at San Diego Comic Con, Geek Media Expo and Wondercon, review comic books for First Comics News, contribute to Hollywood Gone Geek and launch her pop-culture site JustaLottaTanya.com. Tate has also co-created the My Hero Toys line of customizable vinyl figures.
