New Sensations Releases Jacky St. James' 'The Exes and Ohhhs'

LOS ANGELES — New Sensations on Thursday announced the release of "The Exes and Ohhhs," the newest volume in its romance series "Tales From the Heart." Written and directed by Jacky St. James, the four-story vignette examines the often unbreakable bond between former lovers.

"I really wanted to do a film that explores the allure of the ex," St. James said. "The sexual intensity between exes is incredibly powerful when there’s unresolved feelings. This is exactly what I show in 'Exes and Ohhhs' – that raw emotion that rips people apart and then yanks them back together again. Sex can be that much hotter when it’s a bad idea. Am I wrong?"

"The Exes and Ohhhs" features Jade Nile and Michael Vegas as former flames rekindling their love affair while helping friends plan a wedding. Alli Rai and Tyler Nixon play exes caught in a heated argument over his disapproval of her newly found love interest. Casey Calvert and Richie Calhoun realize breaking up is hard to do when you've been playing house for the last few years of your lives. Aria Alexander and Ryan Mclane star as a couple incapable of leaving each other behind... especially when naked.

"Tales From the Heart" launched in May 2014 as a companion line to New Sensations' critically renowned "Romance Series," named Couples-Themed Line of the Year at the XBIZ Awards in 2014 and 2013. "The Exes and Ohhhs" marks the fifth installment in the series. Previous titles include "Spicing Up the Marriage," Rekindling the Flame," "Love Is In the Air," and "Happy Anniversary."

"'Tales from Heart' has been a fun adventure for me," St. James said. "I started in the industry doing romance features, took a detour into edgier themes, and now I'm returning to my softer side. And you know what? I'm absolutely loving it. There’s something to be said about having a little romance with your sex."

"Tales From the Heart: The Exes and Ohhhs" has a runtime of 111 minutes and includes an exclusive photo gallery and a candid Behind-the-Scenes featurette.
