ICM Registry Launches .Sex Tomorrow

MIAMI — ICM Registry is launching .sex tomorrow.

The new top-level domain will have several sunrise periods that provide brand owners priority registration opportunities before its general availability phase, which begins Nov. 4.

The Trademark Clearinghouse phase for trademark owners that have registered with the TMCH begins tomorrow and continues through Oct. 1.

The Sunrise B / domain matching phase begins Oct. 5 and ends Oct. 30.This phase is designed for mainstream brands that participated in the .xxx Sunrise B blocking program in 2011, as well as any registrant who has a .xxx registration as of Oct 1, 2015.

ICM Registry is planning four webinar sessions through the month of September to help explain TMCH registration to ensure priority registration, as well as Sunrise B and domain matching for .xxx participants.

The webinars also will discuss brand protection and ICM Registry’s domain check tool.The registry operates the .xxx, .adult, .porn and .sex top-level domains.
