Sportsheets Reports Successful ANME Show

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – Sportsheets International reports that the recent ANME Show was among the most successful editions to date.

The Adult Novelty Manufacturers Expo (ANME) is held twice a year in January and July at the Marriott hotel in Burbank, Calif., and features new and established manufacturers of pleasure products.

“We have participated in ANME since the show started and it is amazing to see how much it grows in attendance from year to year,” said Julie Stewart, president of Sportsheets. “In fact, before we even arrived at the venue we had a full schedule of customer appointments. Our customers loved our new releases and our new booth.”

In addition to new products introduced at ANME, which included an additional five Sexperiments kits, the company also introduced new plan-o-grams for Sportsheets, strap-ons, positioning gear and for its collections Sex&Mischief, Edge, Sexperiments and Manbound.

ANME also saw the re-launch of Manbound, Sportsheets’ line targeting gay men. According to Emily Silva, customer product specialist for Sportsheets, the line received several pre-orders and was well received by customers checking out the expanded booth.

The two newest members of the Sportsheets family — Corrin Brubaker who serves as international sales manager and Alanna Calloway, who was tapped last month as head of business development  — were on hand to meet Sportsheets’ customers.

“Being international sales manager for Sportsheets is a dream job,” said Brubaker. “Unfortunately, the customers I deal with are usually over the phone and there are only a few international shows a year so to finally meet some of my customers face to face was a real pleasure.”

Sportsheets said it got a last-minute boost from the August Issue of Cosmopolitan, which was released days before the show began and features the Sex In The Shower as Cosmo’s Sex Toy of the Month.

Additionally, during ANME, Sportsheets founder and BDSM innovator Tom Stewart was inducted into the StorErotica Hall of Fame.
