LOS ANGELES —New Sensations is set to produce the third and final film in its acclaimed BDSM series, "The Submission of Emma Marx."
Writer and director Jacky St. James will once again be at the helm.
"I’m taking a lot of risks with the third and final installment of 'Emma Marx,' but I believe it ends exactly as it should,"St. James, the 2015 XBIZ Director of the Year, said. "This is my first trilogy and I don’t want to fail. The level of pressure I’m putting on myself to outdo the last installment in terms of story, acting, etc. is huge. I never want to take a step back — I always want to take a step forward."
Titled "The Submission of Emma Marx - Exposed," the new film finds leads Penny Pax and Richie Calhoun reprising their roles as Emma Marx and William Frederick, an unconventional couple navigating an intense and contractual BDSM relationship. Riley Reid and Van Wylde are also back, playing Emma's bubbly sister Nadia and her loving husband Ray.
"The role of Emma is a dream come true," Pax said. "The way she has evolved throughout the movies almost mirrors my life and experience in the adult industry. I cannot wait to get started on this production and see how it all ends!"
Calhoun remarked, "I've been looking forward to shooting the third feature in the 'Emma Marx' series since the moment I walked off the set of the second one. I care what happens to these characters; I wonder what happens to these characters.

"The Submission of Emma Marx" released in 2013 with its kink-fueled tale of an unlikely romance between an ambitious and independent young woman and a domineering businessman with a proposal for a contractual BDSM relationship. Their devotion was put to the test in this year's "The Submission of Emma Marx - Boundaries." "The Submission of Emma Marx - Exposed" will close the book on Emma and Mr. Frederick, but not without making major revelations and tying up loose ends.
"As a writer, you become attached to your characters. Even though they’re not real — you still feel so much for them. You want to do their story justice. I hope I’ve done that for Emma and Mr. Frederick," St. James said. "I got pretty choked up when I completed the final script for 'Emma Marx 3.' I’ve been with these characters, these performers, and this crew for years! It will be a very emotional moment for me when we shoot the final scene."
"The Submission of Emma Marx" earned co-star Riley Reid a Best Supporting Actress win at the 2014 XBIZ Awards. The film was acknowledged as Steamiest Romantic Movie at the 2014 Feminist Porn Awards, and took top honors at the 2014 XRCO Awards, winning Best Release, Best Director - Features (St. James) and Best Actor (Calhoun). It also ranked in the Showtime documentary "X-Rated: The Greatest Adult Movies of All Time."
