Stockroom, Grooby Co-host ‘Trans Talk’ Panel on July 11

LOS ANGELES — Stockroom and Grooby are teaming up next week to host a special “Trans Talk” panel at Stockroom University.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or through Stockroom’s retail boutique in Silverlake.

Stockroom University is offering an unique opportunity to discuss a variety of transgender topics with a panel of Los Angeles' most well-known trans advocates and adult performers.

“I am so happy to be a part of this very important trans panel where I will discuss why I feel that sex work is a valid and empowering choice in the trans world,” Buck Angel said. “We as sex workers get shamed from our own community and this needs to stop. The trans adult world creates everything from jobs to self-esteem.”

Trans adult star Morgan Bailey added, “I'm looking forward to contributing to this growing conversation on trans topics. Excited to hear everyone's questions.”

“I'm excited to be a part of this amazing panel,” added performer, director, and producer Michelle Austin. “I think this will get more dialogue on the stigma around trans porn. With the uprise to change pronouns and labels in porn, I feel like my voice is needed. To be asked to sit alongside these trans individuals makes me proud. My 15-plus years living authentic to myself as a trans woman and my five years in the business, I have a lot to say!”

“It's exciting to be involved in Stockroom University, especially to discuss topics I'm passionate about, like what it's like to be trans and the adult industry,” adult star Tori Mayes said. “Most of all, I’m honored to share that with amazing individuals who want to broaden their horizons.”

Stockroom University is hosted by Head Mistress Hudsy Hawn every Saturday at Stockroom Hall at 2811 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles. “Trans Talk” will run from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, with tickets available for purchase for $10 at Stockroom.com or at their retail boutique.
