Nigel Williams Leaving AdXpansion

MONTREAL — AdXpansion Vice President Nigel Williams, well known throughout the online adult business for his leading role at the adult contextual ad network as well as his larger-than-life personality, is leaving the company.

“After nine years in the online marketing space, it’s time to move on from AdXpansion and MediaTraffic,” Williams posted on Facebook this afternoon. “I’m quite grateful for having the opportunity to work here as I’ve learned a lot and gained many lifelong friends within the company and especially within the adult and mainstream industry.

“I leave the company on very good terms. Stay tuned for what comes next,” Williams said.

Williams declined comment on today's news but told XBIZ World in an interview last September that getting into the adult traffic business required a homespun but diligent approach.

“At that time, I just jumped in, analyzed the market, talked to publishers, talked to advertisers, attended industry tradeshows and seminars, explored every piece of information that came my way and tried things for myself,” he said at the time.
