LOS ANGELES — Smash Pictures will ship "Shade X," an interracial movie that marks the return of industry veteran Brandon Iron to directing, on June 29.
The title stars Katerina Kay, Layla Price, Sarah Vandella and Stella Daniels with a group of proven male talent.
The pairings include Daniels and Sean Michaels, Vandella and Moe Johnson, Price and Isiah Maxwell and Kay with Nat Turnher, who shares the box cover with her.
Iron has amassed more than 150 credits as a director since 2000, but none since 2013. Wyatt Case, VP of sales for Smash, said he is confident in Iron's track record.
"We haven’t released an interracial in a long time and people have been asking for it," Case told XBIZ. "We got Brandon to shoot it and I stand by the guy 100 percent. When he's shooting he's into it and I think it shows. He's always been a top seller."
