Mateo Stanford Is 4th Gay Porn Star Death in Past 2 Months

VALENCIA, Spain — Gay porn star Mateo Stanford died earlier this month in his native Valencia, where the 35-year-old lived.

Details of Stanford’s death were not revealed.

Stunningly, Stanford’s death marks the fourth death in the gay porn biz in the past two months.

Other performers who passed during the period include Rylan Knox of an apparent suicide; Corbin Fischer exclusive Clay, who was found deceased with a self-inflicted gunshot wound; and Cole Tucker, who died from an AIDS-related illness.

Stanford was a newcomer to the adult entertainment industry, working on productions for UKNakedMen, HardKinks, TimTales.com and MenAtPlay.com, which tweeted initial news reports of his death.

"We are so incredibly sorry to hear of the loss of @mateostanford," MenAtPlay.com tweeted. "A young man gone too soon. Our thoughts are with his friends and family."

Lesley Middleton wrote on the PinkInOurLives.com blog site that Stanford was "a sweet, sensitive guy" who "loved to have a good time and enjoyed the company of his friends.”

“Mateo was a versatile performer, who mostly bottomed, but could also give a great fuck,” Middleton said.

Stanford’s funeral in Valencia was on Saturday, June 13.
