Powers, who will work out of the company’s Manassas, Va., headquarters, will serve as director of customer relations, but she also will head up the company’s rapidly expanding broadcast and foreign rights division.
“Abby is a very smart person with an easy-going manner, which is perfect for our expanding company,” Sex Z Pictures CEO Bo Kenney said. “She is beautiful, intelligent and filled with determination and has all of the qualities we are looking for as we enter the new frontier of adult sales, which includes heavy emphasis on licensing content. Our future is in global sales and putting our content into the right pipelines and Abby will be working in that capacity for Sex Z Pictures as well as traditional DVD sales.”
Powers comes to adult entertainment with a background in upscale residential real estate.
“I was really impressed by Sex Z Pictures and with Bo when I first interviewed,” Powers said. “His lengthy history in the adult entertainment industry is very interesting and when I was thrown into the fire at the AEE, it was really exciting meeting many of the buyers and the colorful personalities. We had a great booth with a lot of excitement and this coming year looks to be amazing.”
