The esteemed directors will talk about their personal shooting techniques and will give advice to directors both old and new alike. The Joone and Blake master class is intended to provide attendees a window into the minds of two of adult’s most creative filmmakers.
“Having Joone and Andrew speak about their craft really adds a new dimension to the conference,” XBIZ Publisher Tom Hymes said. “We’re truly excited that two of the most creative minds in the adult industry are coming together to conduct a master class on shooting high-end HD features on both film and video. I’m sure it’ll be fascinating.”
Joining Joone and Blake on the panel is Tom Funk. Funk formed High Def XXX in 2003, which has complete in-house HD DVD authoring capabilities that includes working directly with the replication facility to ensure low-cost replication.
The company will be releasing its first 10 adult HD DVD titles over the next few months, and is offering HD DVD authoring services to select adult production companies. With a background in computers and science, Funk has focused on entertainment technology since the late 1990s, dealing with postproduction workflow and some shooting in miniDV.
