Xnxx.com Wins 4 More Cybersquatting Cases

LAS VEGAS — The company that operates adult tube site Xnxx.com has been handed four more domain names as a result of recent victories at WIPO, which adjudicated its cybersquatting claims.

WIPO arbitrators last week awarded the domain names XxnxVideos.me, XxnxVids.com, XxxnxMovies.com and XxnxToday.net to NKL Associates S.R.O., the Czech Republic-based company that has trademarks for the “Xnxx” brand after the sites offered similar adult tube site content “confusingly similar” to its own sites.

Xnxx.com in the past few years has filed scores of cases against copycat adult tube sites. In nearly all of the cases, NKL Associates has succeeded before WIPO arbitrators, later benefiting by taking over and re-branding the transferred sites.

NKL Associates already has been awarded the domains Xnxx.pro, HQXnxx.com, New-Xnxx.com, XnxxNow.com, XnxxHDTube.com, and now it has been handed XxnxVideos.me, XxnxVids.com, XxxnxMovies.com and XxnxToday.net.

“Yet again, WIPO recognized that global brands should be protected from cybersquatters,” said attorney Marc Randazza, who represents NKL Associates.

“Those brands who fail to enforce their marks on a global basis risk losing them,” Randazza told XBIZ. “That is why you can't just ignore trademark infringement. Trademarks are ‘defend them or lose them’ rights.”
