Exile Releases Severe Society's 'Ms. Grey'

LOS ANGELES — Exile Distribution has released “Ms. Grey,” a three-hour, two-disc feature from Severe Sex.

Directed by company co-owner Dee Severe and director/performer Lily Cade, "Ms. Grey" brings a lesbian twist to the "Fifty Shades" phenomenon.

“We wanted to plug in to viewers’ desire for edgy, romantic porn that has an emotional connection, all those elements that made the mainstream version so popular,” Severe said. “But we also wanted to fix the plot. The thing that upsets me about that movie is, Grey’s kinkiness is seen as this huge, dark flaw, it’s what’s wrong with him. In our version, being kinky is a good thing. Ms. Grey’s huge, dark flaw is that she’s kind of an jerk, and she cheats on Annabelle."

Added Cade, “’Ms. Grey’ gave me a chance to collaborate with another woman director and showcase a different side of myself as a performer. I’m known for my high intensity scenes, but playing Grey allowed me to step up the kink factor. I immersed myself in ‘Fifty Shades’ in order to write this script, and loved getting to put my twist on this character and story.”

“‘Ms. Grey’ sits at the highest level of a new type of adult film, the story-driven, couples-friendly fetish feature,” noted Jimmy Broadway, co-owner of Severe Sex and executive producer and cinematographer of "Ms. Grey." “While I am extremely pleased with every aspect of this feature, I’m happiest with the work of our amazing cast. This project required triple-threat performers, able to handle intense BDSM play, deliver smoking-hot sex and act at level of a mainstream film actress. All five ladies came through beyond my expectations.“

"‘Ms. Grey’ stars Cade, Skin Diamond, Ela Darling, Kasey Warner and San Francisco-based newcomer Dolly Leigh.

“Dolly has only been in the business a couple of months, but she did such a great job, she genuinely has that young, innocent vibe, and real acting ability,” Severe said. “And Lily is the consummate lesbian top. This isn’t your sweet, gentle kind of girl/girl action, everyone really goes hard. There’s lots of kink and lots of fierce sex.”
