Dr. Sadie's 'Mystery of the Undercover Clitoris' Wins 'IPPY' Award

SAN FRANCISCO — Dr. Sadie Allison's latest book, "The Mystery of the Undercover Clitoris — Orgasmic Fingertip Touching Every Woman Craves" from Tickle Kitty Press, has won the prestigious 2015 “IPPY” best sexuality publishing award.

This is the sixth Independent Publisher Award in a row for Tickle Kitty, which recently surpassed the landmark of two million books sold. Some of her recent award-winners include "Tickle His Pickle," "Ride ‘Em Cowgirl" and "Tickle My Tush." Allison is the CEO of Tickle Kitty as well as the book’s author.

“It’s really a fun how-to guide cloaked as a detective mystery,” Allison said. “I give guys all the techniques they need to touch and arouse the clitoris. And since surveys reveal that 85 percent of women claim their lovers aren’t pleasuring them the way they like, and that they’re not climaxing during lovemaking, this book comes at the right time.”

Allison wrote the book in relatable guy-speak with tasteful illustrations to demonstrate her many pleasure techniques. “It’s a book any guy can comfortably pick up on his own, or one that his lover could easily slip under his pillow,” Allison said.

“I’m pleased the judges honored my book with the award, and I’ll bet they raced home to try it out themselves," she added with a laugh.

Dr. Sadie will receive her IPPY award on Wednesday during ceremonies at the annual BookExpo America publishing convention in New York. IPPYs are awarded each year to honor the best independently published books from around the world.
