BEIJING — Tabloid reports of a mysterious Chinese mogul hiring popular Japanese porn star Rola Misaki (aka Takizawa Rola) as his personal assistant for $8 million for the next 15 years may be a hoax.
Although the media was flooded with the story, Gawker reported that the businessman who goes by the online name “Serious Man,” flatly denied the claims on social media.
The 22 year-old Japanese/Russian performer — who is a big name on China’s Twitter-like service Weibo with more than 4.8 million followers — was supposedly seen in public holding hands with her new employer, an entertainment industry tycoon worth hundreds of millions of dollars. He has been known to give million dollar tips to participants at events he’s attended and was recently spied with the porn star in Beijing wearing a mask to hide his identity.
