WEGCash Hires Robert Sons

BOCA RATON, Fla. — The WEGCash affiliate program has hired seven-year adult industry veteran Robert Sons to head its gay program division.

WEGCash operates a small but growing gay affiliate program that has one paysite, StudSexTour.com, and is adding a second gay site in the coming months, which will feature video-on-demand.

“We are starting with one site and another to follow shortly after because we plan on making a whole gay section of WEGCash,” Sons told XBIZ. “We plan on focusing on quality not quantity, but if things go well, we will continue to add sites and grow the program.”

Sons previously worked for AEBN and Silvercash before agreeing to his new position with WEGCash that will allow him to work from home.

“I have the opportunity here to help build a program from the ground up and I have a great feeling about working with WEGCash,” Sons said. “I have been friends with them for years and look forward to our venture.”

To celebrate the launch of WEGCash’s gay affiliate program, the company is hosting a party Feb. 15 from 6-9 p.m. at the Saddle Ranch Chop House on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, Calif.
