LittleRedBunny Featured on Refinery29.com

NEW YORK — Cam performer LittleRedBunny is featured in a video series celebrating National Masturbation Month by Refinery29.com.

The star and other women talk about female masturbation in order to help de-stigmatize the topic. The first short video about finding a name for female masturbation was released on Refinery29’s Facebook page and YouTube on April 29. A second video, titled “Why You Should Be Masturbating,” was released on May 1 on Refinery29.com.

More videos featuring the cam model will follow throughout May.

“This was a fun and interesting project to take part in,” LittleRedBunny said. “There has never really been a good term which sounds more feminine and classy for female masturbation. To explore new names for it and try to bring the stigma associated with female masturbation into a public discussion was very exciting and thought-provoking to do.”

LittleRedBunny was one of several women in the video who tried to come up with better slang terms and euphemisms for masturbation. Others included in the video are comedians and actresses Betsy Kenney and Alise Morales, fashion designer Remy Kassimir, and Golly Magazine fashion director Emily Theobald.

Future videos will get more in-depth about female masturbation with specific stories and anecdotes delving further into the topic.

"Refinery29 seeks to support issues that are important to women and shine a light on topics that other mainstream outlets might shy away from. Celebrating National Masturbation Month is our way of de-stigmatizing the subject and having an honest conversation with our audience," said Kelly Bourdet, Refinery29's Health & Wellness director.
