Williams Trading Preps Retailers for ‘Fifty Shades’ DVD Release

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — Veteran adult distributor Williams Trading Co. offers customized retail support in preparation for the DVD release of “Fifty Shades of Grey” this Friday.

The company is offering a triple combination of exclusive custom kits, product autographed by E.L. James and “Fifty Shades” e-Learning hosted by Williams Trading University (WTU) with another chance to win an autographed “Fifty Shades” novel.

Williams Trading has assembled four FSOG Special Buy Kits (original packaging) that are in stock and available for immediate shipment. FSOG special buy kits include authentic licensed FSOG products in a variety of combinations.

The company says it encourages retailers to stock up now as FSOG Special Buy Kits are discounted from 45-65 percent and will sell out quickly.

WTU, in partnership with Lovehoney, hosts an e-Learning module that educates retailers and their employees on the mystique surrounding the “Fifty Shades” phenomenon. The features and benefits of the BDSM products used in the book are discussed as well as proper upselling and cross-selling techniques that encourage the sale of support products such as their exclusive FSOG After Spanking Cream and Christian Grey Aftershave.

To celebrate the release of the FSOG movie, WTU is offering all participants who receive their e-Learning certifications for the “Lovehoney: ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’” course a chance to win a “Fifty Shades” novel autographed by author, E.L. James. The winner will be chosen at random on May 30 at 3 p.m., EST and notified via email.

“This is an awesome opportunity to celebrate the ‘Fifty Shades’ phenomenon with your customers and can choose to use this prize as an in-store promotion,” said Erin V., marketing and vendor liaison for Williams Trading.

“Education and value-priced options are clearly going to support retail sales as stores gear up for more mainstream foot traffic,” said Scott D., director of sales and marketing. “The seasoned sales team at Williams is ready to assist customers with any questions and ease their stress by ensuring their support and product fulfillment during this busy sales season.”
