Club Jenna Taps John McCarthy as General Manager

LOS ANGELES — Club Jenna has hired John McCarthy as general manager. Based in Scottsdale, Ariz., McCarthy will report directly to CJI President Jay Grdina and will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, strategic development and management of Club Jenna.

“We’re very happy to have John join CJI,” Grdina said “With his wealth of mainstream and Fortune 500 experience in market research, financial planning and business strategy, we are confident that he will help propel Club Jenna forward to our next level of success.”

McCarthy joins Club Jenna from BVC Consulting, a strategy and financial consulting group for technology/media startups, which he formed in 2001. Prior to that he served as business development executive for Cisco Systems in San Jose, Calif. Previously, he worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers and MCI Communications. McCarthy earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Arizona State University.

Grdina and then-wife Jenna Jameson sold Club Jenna to Playboy in June for an estimated $17 million. The deal included websites, DVD titles, film production assets and retail distribution.

Kayden Kross Explores the Divine Side of Desire in 'Equilibrium'

For as long as humans have told stories, goddesses have embodied our fascination with desire, temptation and pleasure. Kayden Kross taps into that ancient fascination in "Equilibrium," her five-part fantasy feature for Deeper, where desire exists on two planes. On the surface, pleasure collides with duty, appearances and expectations. But beneath it lies an underworld of the psyche, where desire takes physical form and characters confront the parts of themselves they would rather keep buried.
