BERKELEY, Calif. — Fucking Sculptures, artisan glass dildo makers from California, announced they have been selected to make the trophy toppers for the annual Feminist Porn Awards sponsored by Good For Her in Toronto.
Fucking Sculptures is donating more than 20 small, yet functional, original glass dildos that will adorn the top of every Feminist Porn trophy.
“It's wonderful to see an event like this reach it's 10 year anniversary," said Maria Anne, owner and founder of Fucking Sculptures. "This year we created a unique variation off our Hooded Nun style. We created an original teal color specifically for the Feminist Porn Awards. Feminists creating unique porn deserve unique, fucking art. It's what we're all about."
This is not the first time that Fucking Sculptures has put their feminism into action. This past October, Anne hosted a workshop for Bay Area Ladyfest at Fucking Sculptures Glass Studio. Anne led a workshop entitled, “The Intersection of Feminism and Self-Pleasure” and then moderated a discussion between some of the Bay Area's top queer, feminist, porn performers. All proceeds went to El/La Para Translatinas, an San Francisco-based organization serving the trans-Latina community.
