LOS ANGELES — Several nude photos of a 21-year-old Madonna from 1979 will be published by Playboy magazine in its May issue on newsstands April 17.
Called “Madonna; the Lost Nudes” the shots were taken by photographer Martin H.M. Schreiber at his Manhattan studio.
The new never-before-seen photos come from Schreiber’s shoot with the pop star that appeared in the 1985 issue of the magazine.
More photos of Madonna are also included in Schreiber’s book, “A Retrospective 1966-2014,” which is scheduled to be released in June.
"Since I started, I’ve had people giving me a hard time because they didn’t think you could be sexual or have sexuality or sensuality in your work and be intelligent at the same time," Madonna told FOX News. "For me, the fight has never ended.”
