Doc Johnson’s Radio Show Interviews Dan Savage

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — On March 13, Doc Johnson’s “Ask The Doc” Playboy Radio show hosts Chad Braverman and Sunny Rodgers interviewed special guest Dan Savage at the HUMP Film Festival in Los Angeles.

In Savage’s Ask the Doc interview, Chad Braverman and Sunny Rodgers (Doc Johnson’s creative director and marketing manager, respectively) touched on topics ranging from the origins of the term “pegging” to the importance of sex toys.

Dan Savage, whose “Savage Love” column is syndicated in more than 50 newspapers internationally, is one of the most read and most controversial sex columnists in the world. His HUMP Film Festival, billed as “the world’s best amateur dirty film festival,” exhibits homemade erotic cinema and features Savage himself as the master of ceremonies.

“I have always been a huge fan of Dan Savage’s column, and his work in general,” said Chad Braverman, Doc Johnson creative director and “Ask the Doc” show host. “But beyond his books and his columns, Sunny and I feel extremely lucky to have had the chance to interview him on Ask the Doc because he has played such an important role in shaping and influencing the pleasure product industry as we know it today.”

Co-host Rodgers said, “Dan Savage could not have been a more perfect fit for ‘Ask the Doc.’ With his experiences and background, we knew Dan Savage would have some incredible stories for us, and he did not disappoint. The fact that he actually invented the term ‘pegging’ really says it all.”

Doc Johnson’s “Ask the Doc” show on Playboy Radio broadcasts live every Friday from 11-12 p.m. PST on Playboy Radio. The show gives listeners an inside look into America's leading sex toy manufacturing company, and the adult industry at large. The weekly show launched in November, and has since regularly featured guest spots from a stream of famed industry leaders including Jacky St. James, James Deen and ‘Movember’ founder JJ Owens.
