Elegant Angel Ramps Up Production

LOS ANGELES — Elegant Angel, now more than two months into its management and distribution deal with Exquisite Multimedia, has ramped up production and is now releasing one new title per week.

This week’s release is “Cuties 8,” which stars Aidra Fox and was directed by industry newcomer Dreadneck.

“Elegant is going to be coming out with a new movie every week, along with new four-hour and new 20-hour [comps] once a month,” Jerry E., president of Exquisite Multimedia, told XBIZ Tuesday.

Elegant this month led off with “It’s a Mommy Thing 7,” an all-anal edition featuring Veronica Avluv and directed by Pat Myne; it followed that with “Ink’d Squirt,” the first movie from Elegant’s newly signed director Bonnie Rotten that features Jillian Janson sharing the box-cover billing with her.

“We’re trying to bring Elegant back to where it was before a lot of the issues they were having,” said Jerry E., noting that wherever possible they are producing five-scene movies instead of what’s increasingly become the standard four scenes. “We’re trying to give the consumers more bang for their buck.”

The studio’s April releases start with two more Pat Myne-helmed titles, “Massive Asses 8” and “Bush 4”; and they’ll be followed by Dreadneck’s “Big Wet Tits 14” and “Big Wet Asses 24,” continuing two of the studio's most well-established series.

With the exception of “Big Wet Asses 24," each April release contains five sex scenes, Jerry E. said.

“But it’s all anal and all d.p. with all high-end girls,” he said of "Asses."

In addition to running production, Exquisite Multimedia is handling every aspect of Elegant Angel's distribution, including the company’s extensive catalog as well as their broadcast and VOD.

"We're doing things the right way," Jerry E. said.

Meanwhile, the veteran studio exec said he found the new shooter Dreadneck through "a friend of a friend.”

“He’s like a young Jules Jordan,” Jerry E. said, referring to the award-winning gonzo director.
